        Many Jews in the M.O.I. do not belong to the \u201cJewish section,\u201d where Yiddish is spoken, and are grouped (in the \u201cRomanian section,\u201d for example) based on the language they primarily speak.<\/p>

        However, the \u201cJewish section\u201d is the largest, most active, and quickest to become operational:<\/p>

        • 200 to 250 Jews<\/li>
        • 120 to 150 armed operations (\u2248 60% of FTP-MOI operations in Paris)<\/li>
        • 80 to 100 German soldiers killed<\/li>
        • \u2248 150 arrests, \u2248 90 deportations<\/li>
