In March 1944, the National Council of the Resistance drafted a government program titled<\/a> * <\/strong> *, which called, among other things, for the elimination of all forms of discrimination against Jews and the restitution of their property.<\/p>

The program, which places a strong emphasis on social issues, is heavily influenced by communist values (social security, nationalization, labor rights, the right to work, and respect for workers). This platform is intended to be highly consensus-oriented and has been adopted by all member organizations of the CNR, ranging from the Republican right to the Communist left. <\/p>

Meanwhile, the fight continues. On March 1, 1944, in Toulouse, the Marcel Langer Brigade<\/a> (FTP-M.O.I.)  <\/strong>decided to blow up the Cin\u00e9ma des Vari\u00e9t\u00e9s, a <\/em>zealous propagator <\/em>of Nazi ideology. For example, an anti-Semitic propaganda film, *The Jew S\u00fcss*<\/em>, was being shown there. The attack failed spectacularly but did not demoralize the Resistance forces. <\/p>


<\/p>\n

Fighting in the maquis and urban guerrilla<\/a> warfare <\/strong>tenacious, designed by Joseph Epstein<\/a> continues to throw the enemy off balance.
